Welcome to my Blog!

A Little Bit About Me:
I live in Delaware with my husband of 1 1/2 years, who I love with all my heart. I am very close with all of my family, and enjoy every minute I spend with each of them.

My husband and I just purchased our first "grown-up" house, and we are looking forward to making it our own, raising a family in it, and growing old along side one another.

I learned to sew when I was nine years old - at a 4-H class. Ever since, I have been designing and sewing clothing, costumes (lots of costumes) and home interior designs.

I hold a degree in theatre and English drama - I had held high hopes of becoming a successful actress when I was in college! While I was in college, however, I found myself continually drawn to the design and sewing classes, and spent lots of time working for professional theatres sewing costumes, designing lighting schemes, building sets and acting as a stage manager.

Even so, after college I went to work at a local corporation that has since become national. I have moved around quite a bit during my tenure there - working in the Finance Departments, Human Resources, Recruiting and Marketing. I am now the "Marketing Communications Specialist" - in charge of intranet and external website design, advertising and convention event planning.

I hope that once my husband and I settle into our house together, I can devote more of my time to my sewing, which I have missed desperately since we moved into a smaller condo.
